THE SITAR PROJECT

This is the first part of this project, which was required for my final project at school, which I did from January to May 2023. In it are a series of articles, presentations and journals describing my project, more specifically about learning the sitar. Some of the journals especially are incredibly personal and sometimes quite dramatic (it was a stressful time for me), but I hope those who read it will be inspired and enlightened to pursue Indian music and culture in the same way which I did. I have no qualifications or prior knowledge, so this was really a breathtaking journey.
